Conflicting answers for a remote start

Question

I have a 2012 Toyota Venza with Push to Start. I took my car to 1 installer and they said the Evo-All does not do take over.  Take over is only for the 2009 through 2011 Toyota Venza's

 

I went to another installer and they said it was possible.

The instructions you have on your website says key take over but only shows model years 2009 through 2011.

 

Can you provide me with the correct answer?

The take over guide was never tested in 2012 +. Technically it could work but it was not tested and I don't recommend you try it.
