Can I install remote starter for Jeep Patriot as stand alone and alarm on the same THAR-CHR5?

Jeep Patriot 2014 comes without factory alarm and Im already installing a remote starter with THAR-CHR5 to it enabeling option 15, but how do I make this product to also work as a factory alarm?

You need to activate EVO-ALARME options in the options menu of the EVO.

The wiring you need will be the combination of two installation guides

 

1.  You probably already have the install guide for this but just in case.... Use this wiring to do the stand alone remote starter part. Connection "C" of the guide linked below covers. It's pretty much plug n play except for the yellow wire of the EVO needs to connect to yellow wire of T-Harness

 

2. The second part of the install you are going to wire as per appropriate diagram in the install guide linked below. Looking through the guide and with your current set up, Connection B is what you would end up doing. The options required to turn on the alarm option is, Option 22. You can play around with other options in the EVO-ALARME section, this is outlined in the beginning of the installa guide.

  • EVO-ALARME
  • The (-)Start-kill/Anti-grind is not required.

I have the same question. My stand alone remote starter is working perfectly. I have remote keyless entry but no alarm. How do I make it a stand alone alarm also? The evo-alarme link above is no longer active
