Does the relay need a protection diode across it?

2020 Kia Sportage standard key.

Install guide calls for a relay. Does said relay need a suppression diode. Across 85/86 pins?

With this car diagram I do not see any Diode only a relay that is needed.

dosent need a supression relay otherwise it would be listed
