Headlight issues

Question

The park lights come on when I use the remote start, but the headlights won't come on unless I shut the car down and reset the system.  Sometimes I have the start the car two or three times.

What make model and year is this vehicle and what system was installed?

It's a 2013 Dodge Journey and I installed EVO-CHRT6.

I would start off by disconnecting the parking light connection ( green/red from 20 pin to White/Brown of the vehicle)

And test the vehicle by remote starting, unlocking vehicle by oem remote, enter vehicle, close doors and put into gear, then try to turn on headlamps. If headlamps work properly this way, please double check where you connected the parking light wire to.
