Using evo-one with t harness and a fortin rf kit. The programming of the module goes fine. Go to remote start and truck will crank but will not start. Put key in ignition and remote start works fine.

Can you please start by turning OFF the option B2, then test.

Did you get the RED and BLUE led flashes on step 5?

Also double check the SIL DATA connections, if this connection is not done, it will do the symptoms you are describing.

So I changed the setting, went through the programming, got the 10 flashes of the red and blue then the blue rapidly. Remoted started truck, it start about 4 times in a row then all of a sudden went back to crank but no start. Does it matter what SIL  wire is on which side?
Will start intermitantly but not consitently.
no the sil wire connection is not directional. as long as it's connected properly, your issue sounds more like a bad ground connection, please verify this, try to ground to the kickpanel and not the steering column as most people do.

Also verify the Light Blue/Black connection to the IMMO wire on the obd2 connector, please make sure that you are on the wire and do not use t-taps, just strip the wire and connect directly to it.
