unable to locate, negative - lt. blue lock/arm wire or negative - gray unlock/disarm wire in kick panel. found a 16 pin white connector with those wire colors but they have power going to them.

also checked white 40 pin BCM connector to the right of steering column over gas pedal. looking at the connector from the pin side, from right to left, pin 8 blue wire & pin 7 gray wire. they have power going to them.

you will have to test those wires in the kickpanel as you lock and unlock the car to see if you are getting ground pulses on those wires, on doorlock wires, it is sometimes normal to see 12v at rest because of the feedback on the wires.

Have someone lock and unlock the car using the key and not the remote control, you should see negative ground pulses as you turn the key in the cylinder to the lock and unlock positions

I saw this comment, and am having similar issues.  When testing for current, why do you need to use the manual key and not the door lock switches.  I can see not using the remote, but not sure why the switch.
Because the wire you are looking for are coming from the outside switch...
Thanks for your reply. I found my error  when looking for the arm/disarm wires.  I used the key like you said, but also realized that with the door open the alarm wouldn't set, so I didn't get the reading on the meter.  I held in the door pin while checking and everything grounded like it should.
