Can I increase the "crank time" for EVO-CHRT5?

I installed the EVO-CHRT5 in stand alone mode on my 2006 Grand Cherokee.  When it works, it works great!  However it usually requires 2 attempts to start. The battery is new, as well as the starter.  It seems like just a little more "crank time" would resolve the issue.  (The vehicle always starts fine with the key)  It would be nice to trust the remote starter, and not have to actually hear the engine running to know it started successfully.  My engine is not diesel, so I don't believe "diesel mode" applies in this case. Thanks in advance for your advise.

Hi Michael, you can not adjust the crank time threshold when in stand alone mode. The only way is to put it in deisel mode so that it can crank a little longer. It will just leave the ignition on for 15 sec but at least it will start no problem. Try using the most recent version the flash link updater suggests. Hope this helps!
