T Harness wire tail color wrong?

I have a THAR-SUB1 T-harness for a 16 outback auto key start.  The harness has a yellow and black wire tail coming out of it and the directions show a pink for + ignition.  Is this wrong?

Black is ground. Yellow would be for clutch on manual transmission vehicle. You want to splice the yellow wire from pin A1 to the pink wire on the T harness. Ignore the yellow wire from the T harness it isn't used for automatic transmission.

So I need to cut into the braid and get to the pink wire on the t harness?  The wiring diagram seems like there should be a pink tail coming out of the t harness.
