Hood switch necessary in 2015 RAV4 LE?

0 votes
Dealer far far away installed the Fortin TX something.

Changed my battery recently and now the starter error reads hood-open. Lights flash 5 times.

I can't see anything that looks like a hood switch.

Where could it possibly be located, or is it possible there isn't one at all and the grounding wire came off?

Does the module need to be repogrammed?

Any details help

If it is an evo-one module the hood pin wire is the pink/black on the 20 pin connector of the evo.

If its an evo-all in stand alone it is the dark.blue wire on the 20 pin connector.

If it is an issue in data, the option would need to be turned off inside the unit itself which would require visiting your point of installation unless you own the programmer that allows you to change options inside the unit.
